It was a solo bike ride on 1st January 2015 from Pune, started at 6 AM from my home (Kondhwa) and reached Sanctuary around 7:30 AM. I missed the sunrise due to unpredictable rain and fog near Yavat village but found few birds like Indian Roller, Eurasian Collared Dove on the Ghat just before Supe village.

After reaching the Sanctuary the person in the check post requested to make a entry with check-in time and took 100 Rs for me and my Camera. He allowed me to take my bike inside the Sanctuary from the road which is used by Forest vehicle and my first wild life journey begin with Chinkara in wild forest.

As I explored the sanctuary, I saw few varieties of forest birds, Big Eagles etc. The landscapes were too beautiful. After keeping the bike at one place I headed towards the "Machaan", which is a watching point to see animals, climbed up and the view from top was amazing. Took rest for half an hour and enjoyed bread jam and Orange.
